I finished correcting yesterday's mid-term exam... My dear, what a catastrophe ! I admit Part III (compréhension détaillée) was not very easy, but Part II (compréhension globale) and Part IV were not difficult at all... as long as [du moment que] you had revised !
I am not only disappointed by your results, but I am also a bit angry with you, because most of you did not read and learn their lessons : many simple words (voc.) never came up in the papers, the grammatical structures we had studied were apparently completely forgotten.
Either you did not work enough, or the exam was really too hard. The truth must lie somewhere in-between those two possibilities.
Therefore [=so] I suggest you should tell me tomorrow what was wrong with the exam.
We should normally correct the exam tomorrow in the afternoon.
